So here is that Great Horned Owl from the Vancouver Aquarium again.
I think i'll ever and anon be thanking the gods that my camera has a swivel screen so that i didn't have to present my bare neck to the bone crushing beak of this bird to get this shot.
Even with the closeness of this picture, i have to say these claws were way more terrifying up close then in this picture, the only mitigating factor being that if i was to get hit it would be by her beak and not those nasty tools.
ps the camera is a Canon G2

O_O scary. I think that maybe the compostion could have been a little bit different. Very nice on the whole though. OMG! My school band is going to Vancover.
